Green and local hydrogen, a solution for decarbonizing territories and industry
We build short-circuit green hydrogen projects with a concerted, circular economy approach, to decarbonize transport networks and offer a decarbonization solution to local businesses and industrial players.
The green hydrogen production units developed by CVE have a capacity of between 2 MW and 30 MW. Whenever possible, the production of our hydrogen by electrolysis relies on our solar electricity assets located as close as possible to distribution and consumption points. Our ability to secure a supply of green electricity and to develop and operate complex projects and industrial sites guarantees the quality of the ecosystems we deploy.

We offer companies decarbonization solutions, focusing on specific uses: decarbonization of industrial combustion, substitution of grey hydrogen by local green hydrogen, and decarbonization of intensive mobility.

We offer municipalities a turnkey solution for producing green, local hydrogen to decarbonize public transport networks, and provide a decarbonization solution for local manufacturers.
Our pre-feasibility studies: helping you make the right decisions
To support its customers in their energy transition, CVE develops decision-making tools to assess the relevance and modalities of a conversion to hydrogen. To do this, we adopt an approach that aims to consider and promote all decarbonization solutions relevant to both local authorities and industry.
Our expertise in decarbonization
Feasibility
CVE supports each of its customers in the pre-qualification, feasibility studies and validation of hydrogen projects, using decision-support studies to determine the suitability of converting to hydrogen.
Development
CVE manages the entire development cycle of green hydrogen projects, right through to construction. Efficient and reliable, we have the ability to take a global approach to each project, adapting to the operational constraints of each site and territory.
Financing
CVE adapts its financing to each of the three phases of its energy production projects: development, construction and operation. Hydrogen projects are financed by a combination of equity and bank debt.
Building
By controlling all stages of construction and rigorously selecting its subcontractors, CVE ensures that its facilities perform technically and financially throughout their lifetime.
Operation
The operation and maintenance of our green hydrogen solutions aim to maximize the availability of our production and distribution sites, ensure continuity of service and optimize the ratio between performance and costs. We also ensure the safety of people and property.
Energy sales
As the market has evolved, our business has evolved from a producer to an energy supplier. Working closely with our innovation and marketing teams and our energy business units (BUs), our Energy Division is developing new energy valuation models based on HPAs, guarantees of origin, capacity services and more.
